Our mission

Imagine being 16…

Imagine you're 16 years old, living in a small village in rural Romania. You dream of going to university, becoming an engineer, or starting your own business. But the nearest high school is far away, your family struggles with the costs of education, and nobody has explained which opportunities are available to you.

Your potential is not the problem. Access to opportunity is.

Educational gaps have many interacting causes including distance, cost, family income, the availability of guidance and digital access. ORIZON does not intend on solving them all; instead, it aims to lower some of the information and support barriers that a free online platform can realistically address.

The proposed solution

An integrated, free online platform combining lessons, mentorship, exam preparation and pathway guidance, funded by sponsors and grants.
